Marley's Bud, a mostly indica hybrid, was bred in Holland. This variety won the Dutch High Life Cup in 1999 and was named after the great Bob Marley. Dense, stocky buds have a sweet, floral aroma with hints of Afghan hashish. Some specimens of the Jamaican "collie" (a slang term used in Jamaica for cannabis or ganja) have been crossed with the related variety Maple leaf Indica, with the best hybrid named Marley's Bud. After seed feminization, we have achieved greater uniformity, so plants can be successfully grown using both the "sea of green" and "screen of green" methods. In conditions of open or closed ground, flowering occurs on the 60-65th day.
