This is one of the many varieties collected by mycologist John Allen on the island of Samui, Thailand. The strain has much in common with the Koh Samui strain, but with some differences.
The strain produces large round caps that gradually flatten and can even become convex if collected after maturation.
Thai is resistant to contamination, can grow in non-optimized environments, and can produce good yields of several waves.
The vigor of this mushroom variety is about average.
*Spores do not contain psilocybin and are for taxonomic and mycological studies only.
