This variety is a close relative of our Purple Bud. We redesigned our original strain, Purple Skunk, for a smoother smoke effect, which is why we renamed it Velvet Bud. This variety has a relaxed but strong effect for most, and is not accompanied by a sense of fear. Plants grow long, with side branches, making it ideal for growing in the ground. Despite the fact that the yield is not so high, the quality of taste and softness (when properly processed) distinguishes the variety from its counterparts.
