The variety is a sativa from the Vandi province in Central Bhutan. It grows in tropical climates with cool winters at an altitude of 1,300–2,000 meters. White Bhutanese is a versatile variety with high resistance to disease and mold. The variety can be grown in tropical and warm climates. Plants die at high greenhouse temperatures: 48°C/118°F in a greenhouse. If you are growing a plant outdoors or in a greenhouse, avoid sudden changes in temperature.

White Bhutanese is a classic tall sativa: the plants grow tall and this must be taken into account when growing indoors or in a greenhouse.
