Best varieties for outdoors

Outdoor is a less demanding alternative to indoor cannabis growing. Mother nature herself sends the plant almost everything it needs. Outdoors, however, the grower has no control over the environment. In order for the plants to grow to the final stage without becoming a victim of a harsh climate and various parasites, it is worth choosing the most resistant varieties from seeds. These include autoflowers, mostly indica stamps. Autoflowering varieties bloom without a short day shift, so you don't have to wait until fall to harvest. Of the photoperiod strains, indica varieties are more tolerant of street conditions.

Growing marijuana seeds in open field

Instructions to start growing grass for outdoor planting are as follows:

For germination, an intact seed is taken and placed in a glass of water for a day. During this time, it should sink and crack. We take out the future sprout and put it in a slightly damp cotton wool, after which we put it in a warm place. If everything is done correctly, in a couple of days the seed should give a root. We plant the grain in a pot for seedlings with the root down, to a depth of 1 cm, after watering. The earth should be kept slightly moist. When the sprout appears, you should cover it with a transparent container for the first time. After a couple of weeks, the shoot will get stronger and it can be transplanted into open areas.

Outdoor Advantages and Disadvantages

Like any phenomenon, outdoor has its pros and cons.

Benefits:

  • Cheapness - the cannabis grower spends only on seeds, fertilizers and soil.
  • Simplicity - no need to bother with daylight hours, humidity and temperature.
  • Yield - no box size limit increases bud count.

Outdoor has the following disadvantages:

  • Inaccessible - not every grower has an outdoor yard.
  • Higher risks - more likely to be noticed by random people.
  • Weather - the climate can suddenly change, stressing the plant.
  • Parasites - various pests do not mind eating a well-groomed bush.

Why is outdoor not suitable for everyone?

Despite the benefits of growing cannabis outdoors, most cannabis growers traditionally grow indoors. The main reason is the first drawback of the outdoor, namely inaccessibility. Residents of apartments simply have nowhere to do street gardening. However, the method will be successful for owners of private houses, delighting them with a sunny harvest.
