Photo Synthesis Light of the new generation LUCALOX PSL are a series of lamps specially created by General Electric for use in indoor plant growing technologies.

Unlike other HPS lamps, which are mainly used for street lighting (XO series), Lucalox PSL lamps are designed to illuminate plants: - by adding some elements, in particular xenon, to the arc burning zone, the spectrum of their radiation is significantly expanded, including shortwave region. This increases the absorption of radiation by plant leaves, leading to the activation of the processes of photosynthesis. In PSL lamps, the PAR (Photosynthesis Active Radiation) photosynthesis index, in comparison with XO lamps, is increased by 10%.

High-tech sodium vapor resistant ceramic burner elements eliminate early failures, providing 24,000 hours of service life.

Lucalox PSL 600 W lamps have the highest luminous efficiency in their class - about 150 lumens of luminous flux per 1 W of electrical energy. For comparison - incandescent lamps - 10-15, and fluorescent - 50-60 lm / W.

Thanks to the installation of a zirconium getter lamp in the bulb, it was possible to significantly reduce the degree of blackening of the bulb during operation; after 10,000 operating hours, the radiation level is 92 - 93% of the new lamp.

Lamps can work with various types of starting and regulating equipment with a power of 600 watts.
