According to legend, the spores of these magic mushrooms were discovered in a field inhabited by pink buffalo (according to Thai legend, meeting a pink buffalo promises good luck).
These Psilocybe cubensis spores grow in humid climates and tend to give medium to large sized fruits. They require a little more light than other mushrooms. The caps range from 25 to 75 mm in diameter and are colored in reddish-brown or brown shades. Sometimes the caps can be very pale cream or white in color. Stems reach lengths of 125 to 175 mm and are yellowish in color.
*Spores do not contain psilocybin and are for taxonomic and mycological studies only.
