Under the right conditions, the gender of weed is more likely to be female. The art of growing also allows you to breed males. To do this, it is worth reducing the moisture level to 50%, the light range should be equal, the temperature should be at 27 degrees, and top dressing should include more potassium.

Advantages and disadvantages of regular varieties

The strengths include their cheapness and quality. Traditional seeds are cheaper, which allows you to purchase a larger quantity for a smaller amount. Also, grown male plants do not deserve the glory of weeds. Their inflorescences also contain THC, which makes it possible to prepare a concentrate or hashish. In addition, the quality of ordinary grains is higher than that of “femok”. Hemp raised from them is better suited for breeding new seeds and breeding work. The main disadvantage is the lost weeks of effort, in the event of the appearance of male inflorescences. Males do not bring cones, which is why they are removed from the plantation.

How to replace regular sorts

In order to ensure a 100 percent chance of the appearance of sensimilla, planting feminized grass seeds is practiced. They are obtained by crossing female hemp with a hermaphrodite, originally a former gender femme. Only X chromosomes are involved in such pollination, which excludes the appearance of “boys” from seeds. However, there are exceptions here too. According to statistics, about 2% of fem seeds do not grow into “females”.
