Also, the method allows you to unconditionally obtain the desired sex, which cannabis inherits. The clone also copies other aspects of genetics, such as growth rate or a lush crown. Unfortunately, cloning is only suitable for photoperiod varieties in the vegetative stage. Using the autoflowering technique, the grower gets a new plant, the age of which is transferred to him from the old one. Thus, two bushes will bloom at the same time, and due to the stress they have suffered, they will give a total yield less than an untouched plant.

In order to clone marijuana, you need to have a viable photoperiod plant in the vegetative stage. By choosing a flowering bush for these cases, the grower will receive a clone with the flowering process that has begun, which is unlikely to be reversed. From a suitable plant, we cut off a strong branch with several pairs of leaves. Carefully cutting off the future shoot, put it in water and place it in a grow box with a lighting mode of 18/6. The roots need air dissolved in the liquid, for which an aquarium compressor is placed in a container of water. You can add a little root. A week later, the baby should show the first roots and become an independent plant.

How to care for cannabis clones

After starting cannabis cloning, a new shoot needs special care. The quality of each future cone depends on how the bush will feel from the beginning of its journey. Due to the lack of a root system at first, it is required to spray the leaves from a spray bottle. In order not to burn the foliage, spraying is required at night. For the vigorous development of the crown, more blue spectrum should be added to the lighting, and the temperature should be increased to 23 - 26 degrees Celsius. Such conditions will allow you to get a quality clone that can arrange a rich harvest.
