Cannabis diseases

The cannabis plant is a living organism that, like everything else, is subject to disease. The disease can slow down the development, reduce the amount of the crop, or even destroy the Christmas tree. There are four factors that cause poor health: disease, stress due to improper care, lack or “overdose” of elements, and pests. Timely detection and diagnosis of the cause of the disease is half the solution. Of the diseases, mold is a frequent guest. Often attacks indoor bushes. There is no cure for mold, but it can be controlled by removing the infected areas, lowering the humidity, raising the temperature, and improving the aeration of the plant crown. Less commonly, hemp is bothered by other fungal diseases: root rot, septoria and powdery mildew.

How to deal with marijuana pests

Parasites often visit outdoor plants, feasting on cannabis before you do. Among the pests there are many different insects, the main of which are caterpillars, aphids, locusts and slugs. You can notice uninvited guests by carefully examining the bush. If the hemp has not been treated with special chemicals, most likely it will not have a single aphid colony and deformation of the leaves from bites. Some insects do no harm, but are able to breed dangerous larvae near the plant. For example, the offspring of sciarids, which look like small white worms, can harm marijuana roots. To protect the crop from pests, insecticides are best suited. By treating cannabis with chemistry, you can forget about parasites for a long time.

What to do if you spilled cannabis

Stress from the wrong actions of the grower is a common, but very dangerous phenomenon for beginners. Overflow is a prime example. External signs - sluggish leaves, tending down as if under weight. Excess water in the soil causes damage to the roots, which begin to rot without access to oxygen. In case of a flood, it is worth stopping irrigation until the cannabis returns to its original form. Not less dangerous and underfilling, when the leaves look sluggish having lost their elasticity. The solution will be urgent watering, which only a neglected case will not save. It is worth keeping in the norm and other indicators. For example, another symptom of sick cannabis is leaf curling. The reasons are: uncomfortable temperature, wind burn and diseases.

Overdose of marijuana fertilizers

Nutritional surplus, like deficiency, causes trouble even for the most unpretentious varieties. Symptoms of excess or deficiency of each element are different. Any deviation from the norm, whether it be yellowing, darkening, faded spots and other sores on the leaves of the bush, indicate the wrong ratio of minerals.

In case of an overdose of fertilizers, the grass bush should be stopped feeding until it returns to its original state. If the situation is particularly acute, it will be necessary to flush the soil with filtered water. Rarely growers see fox tails on buds. This feature makes the heads loose and reduces the level of THC. The reason is the high temperature of the box and the light burn.
